NC candidate Swar wins HoR election in Achham-1

Achham, March 7: Nepali Congress's Bharat Bahadur Swar has won the House of Representatives election from Achham constituency no 1 by a small margin.     

According to the Office of Election Officer, Swar defeated his closest contender Bhim Bahadur Rawal of the Nepal Communist Party by a margin of 526 votes.     

Swar emerged victorious with 10,759 votes while Rawal received 10,233 votes.     

Similarly, Deepak Bahadur Saud of the CPN (UML) finished third with 7,389 votes while Rastriya Swatantra Party's Om Prakash Rawal got 1,739 votes.  (RSS)
