Kathmandu, March 5: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said she worked with the confidence that jobs will be performed if done through a selfless spirit and integrity.
"We had assumed our responsibility amid tough times and uncertainties. But, we had confidence that we could work. We worked as per our responsibility despite challenges," PM Karki said after the successful completion of the House of Representatives (HoR) today.
Likewise, the PM shared that there were several challenges and obstacles, and the security agencies worked as per the integrated election security plan. "This turned effective. It became possible to maintain the security situation with success," according to the PM.
The PM was of the view that there was a very good coordination among the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, National Investigation Department and the home administration.
"They all worked with the single national aspiration, they all deserve thanks," PM Karki added.
Similarly, the PM expressed her appreciation to the martyrs' families and injured warriors for their restraint and understanding.
Likewise, the PM mentioned that the government worked to maintain law and order in the country despite repeated questions from the political parties and some individuals of the Gen-Z movement.
She added that the entire focus of the government was to conduct the poll in a peaceful and disciplined manner. Our focus was to conduct the polls without violence, according to the PM.(RSS)
