HoR election: 39 per cent voters cast votes by 3 PM

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, March 5: 39 percent of voters nationwide have cast their votes for the House of Representatives election by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.

According to the Election Commission,  58 percent of votes have been cast by 3:00 p.m. There are 1,907 polling locations across 28 constituencies in the Koshi province.

51 percent of the votes have been cast in the Kathmandu Valley. Voting is ongoing at 527 polling stations across 15 constituencies.

 54 percent of the votes have been cast. The province has 32 constituencies and 2,160 polling stations in Madhesh Province,

In Bagmati Province, 53 percent of votes have been cast across 18 constituencies and 1,288 polling stations.

41 percent of votes have been cast across 18 constituencies and 1,297 polling stations in Gandaki Province.

In Lumbini Province, 38 percent of votes have been cast across 26 constituencies and 1,671 polling stations.

In Karnali Province, 42 percent of votes have been cast across 12 constituencies and 941 polling stations.

43 percent of votes have been cast across 16 constituencies and 1,176 polling stations in Sudur Paschim Province.

According to the Election Commission, there are 10,967 polling locations across 165 constituencies nationwide. Out of a total of 18,903,689 registered voters, 7,414,101 voters have cast their ballots by 3:00 p.m.
