'Polling officer fulfils her responsibility with six month baby in lap'

By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, March 5:  A woman has been performing her duties as a polling officer at a polling center in Nepalgunj while carrying her six-month-old baby in her arms amid the enthusiasm of voters during the ongoing election.

Amrita KC, a section officer at the bench of the High Court Tulsipur in Nepalgunj, has been serving as the polling officer at Hadiya Baba Polling Center (A) located in Ward No. 6 of Nepalgunj while caring for her six-month-old daughter.

She said that she carried her daughter in her arms while fulfilling her responsibility in order to complete the historic duty aimed at changing the lives of the country and its people.

She also expressed that she felt very proud to be able to fulfill her responsibility while holding her daughter during this historic moment.
