Construction of polling stations begins

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, March 4: Polling booths are being rapidly constructed for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Thursday. With the assistance of election police, booths are being set up at polling stations across the country, including in the Kathmandu Valley.
The Office of the Chief Election Officer said that preparations for booth construction are underway for voting, which will begin at 7 a.m. on Thursday.
The work includes arranging queues and hanging curtains, among other preparations.
Separate booths are being set up for women, men, and persons with disabilities.
