Home Minister Aryal, security officials inspect voting centres

Kathmandu, March 3: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal and high level security officials have conducted field inspection of voting centres located at remote parts of Lalitpur district on Tuesday.     

Minister Aryal, Secretary Raj Kumar Shrestha, Spokesperson Anand Kafle and other high level security officials visited Bungmati, Lele, Nallu and Thecho and inspected the voting centres there. The team took briefing on entire security arrangement in the area.     

On the occasion, Minister Aryal urged all to caste vote in the Thursday election being confident. "House of Representatives election will be held in a free, fair and peaceful atmosphere, so I call on all of you to exercise voting rights confidently," he said.     

The security persons were reminded to provide safety to voting centres and ballot boxes. Entire security arrangements were in place for the HoR election. "Anyone involved in illegal activities won't be spared," he warned.     

The Minister also garnered information from the local voters on security situation.(RSS)
