CoAS Sigdel discusses election security

Mahendranagar, Feb 26: Chief of Army Staffs (CoAS) Ashok Raj Sigdel held a discussion with province security mechanism on the upcoming election at Sudurpaschim Brigade of Teghari in Kailali on Thursday.     

In course of monitoring the Brigade, CoAS Sigdel directed the security bodies to ensure robust election security in order to hold the election in a free and fair atmosphere.     

Even the Chief District Officers of Kailali and Kanchanpur districts were present during the monitoring.     

Meanwhile, the Nepali Army has already taken responsibility of the Dhangadhi-based Nepal Oil Corporation's depot and prison in view of the election security in Sudurpaschim Province.(RSS)
