Ministers mull use of parking lot at Dharahara
Kathmandu, Feb 20: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal and Minister for Urban Development, Kumar Ingnam, inspected the Dharahara area on Friday. They also inspected the underground parking lot in the premises of historic Dharahara tower.
Acting Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), Sunita Dangol, ministry secretaries and chief administrative officer at KMC were also together in the field monitoring.
Following the inspection, a discussion was held on how the parking lot could be used for free of cost, which would help ease traffic congestion in the heart of Kathmandu Valley, according to Home Minister's secretariat.(RSS)
