PM Karki updated on election security in Gandaki Province

Gandaki, Feb 20: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has acquired information on election related security in Gandaki Province in view of the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.     

PM Karki was briefed on Friday by Principal Secretary of Province Government, Dandu Raj Ghimire; chiefs of provincial security agencies; Chief District Officer in Kaski, Rudra Devi Sharma; Chief Returning officer Him Lal Belbase; election officer in province, Narayan Dhakal; among others. They shared information on preparation for HoR election, according to Ghimire.     

Principal Secretary Ghimire informed, "There is an election cell along with security mechanism in province. This very cell shared all information to PM Karki. It also received PM's direction for smooth works and coordination to make HoR election successful."     

PM Karki had arrived in Pokhara to grace the 21st Convocation Ceremony of Pokhara University.(RSS)
