By Rajan Rawat, Humla, Feb.20: Different styles and methods of election campaigning have been seen in Humla district for the upcoming House of Representatives member election on March 5.

In an effort to win the hearts of voters in a new way, the candidate, along with party leaders and cadres, engaged in voluntary community labor by planting fruit saplings collectively in a village.

In this election,  candidate of Nepali Communist Party Kumbha Budha and his campaign team, who have been visiting villages to meet voters, dug pits in empty land and planted fruit saplings for collective farming.

He stated that, as per the central policy of the  Nepali Communist Party , the campaign in Humla has also begun planting saplings alongside voter outreach programs.

The election campaign team led by him planted 200 apple and walnut saplings in Pius village of Kharpunath Rural Municipality–1, on Thursday alone.

According to journalist Narjan Tamang, the party’s candidate has adopted this new and unique style of meeting voters and winning their support in Humla.

He also said that the candidate has been encouraging villagers to engage in farming activities in this way.

Candidate Budha’s team has announced that they will continue planting fruit saplings for collective farming in villages across the district as part of their campaign.
