Seven election police injured in Jumla van accident

By Naurate Nepali, Sinja (Jumla), Feb.19 Seven election police personnel sustained injuries when a van met with an accident in Jumla on Thursday.

The accident occurred on Thursday at Dhaulapani in Tatopani Rural Municipality–6 when an electric van (Bhe. 1 Ja. 818) traveling from Jumla Bazaar toward Nagma met with an accident. All seven election police personnel on board sustained injuries.

According to Chief District Officer Rabin Babu Regmi of the District Administration Office, Jumla, the injured have been taken to Karnali Academy of Health Sciences for treatment. 

He said that two of the seven injured are in serious condition. The identities of the injured are yet to be confirmed.
