By A Staff Reporter,Lalitpur, Feb. 9: Roma Shrestha, an air hostess by profession, has come up with her second song ‘Timro Yaad Mitho’. The song was released amid a programme in Lalitpur on Sunday.

Speaking about the song, Shrestha said she released her first song two years ago and has now returned with her second. She expressed her excitement and gratitude to everyone associated with the song-making process. “My first song was liked and appreciated by many, which encouraged me to bring this song after a two-year hiatus,” said singer Shrestha.

The song has been written by Prakash Sayami, who also expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the project. Music has been composed by Prawin Baraili. Artistes Sohit Manandhar and Ritu Shrestha are featured in the music video. Along with the models, singer Shrestha and Heera Kaji Shrestha, both singer and real life couple, also appear in the music video.

Speaking at the programme, hotel entrepreneur, writer and philanthropist Karna Shakya connected the song with the real-life love story of singer Shrestha and Heera Kaji Shrestha. Shakya said Roma is the song and Heera is the heart, therefore, the song completely resonates with their real-life love.

Likewise, Dependra Purush Dhakal, former Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, praised the efforts of everyone involved in the song-making process. He said the song expresses pure love in a poignant way and would encourage her to bring out the third song soon.

The song has been edited, conceptualised and directed by Lujaw Singh, with Gautam Shrestha as the cinematographer. The music video has been produced by Heera Kaji Shrestha. ‘Sansara’, an autobiography written by Heera Kaji Shrestha, was also discussed at the event.

Kamal Dhakal, President of the Ghost Writing Nepal, reviewed the book and said Sansara is the story of the world. He added that while autobiographies generally highlight only the positive aspects of a person’s life, this book presents Shrestha’s life honestly and in depth.

Likewise, Karna Shakya’s campaign ‘Positive Thought’ video was also presented at the programme.
