Fidim declared full immunization assurance municipality

Panchthar, Feb 7: Fidim in Panchthar has been declared the full immunization assured municipality. 

Fidim municipality has been declared a municipality with full immunization, ensuring that all children within 23 months have received all types of vaccines that should be given by 15 months. 

In Fidim municipality, 273 children aged between 16 to 23 months have received all types of vaccines that should be given by 15 months, and 562 children below 15 months are regularly receiving the designated vaccines. 

Fidim's mayor Mitra Prasad Kafle informed that the municipality has been declared with full immunization on the basis that number of unvaccinated children is reduced to zero. 

At the announcement programme held at the municipality office on Friday, Mahesh Sunar, Member Secretary of the District Vaccine Coordination Committee and Head of the Health Office, Panchthar, presented a certificate of full vaccination assurance to mayor Kafle. (RSS)
