Price of diesel, kerosene hiked

Kathmandu, Jan 31: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the price of diesel and kerosene by Rs 3 per litre. The price will come into force from this midnight, the NOC Board of Directors decided.     

With the price adjustment, diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 136.50 in the districts of first category, Rs 138 in second category and Rs 139 in third category.     

The NOC has categorized Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj depots in the first category, while Dang depot in the second category and Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal depots as the third one.     

However, the NOC has slashed the price of aviation fuel. As shared by the NOC, aviation fuel's price was reduced Rs 1 per litre for domestic and $ 7 per kilolitre for the international flights.(RSS)
