Kathmandu, Jan 30: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has said that the incumbent government is citizen-friendly, thus ready to cooperate and coordinate to troubleshoot their challenges.
At the concluding ceremony of the 21st Women and 25th Men's National Kabaddi Competition organized by All Nepal Kabaddi Association on Friday, Minister Aryal shared that the government's key priorities are maintaining law and order, ensuring social justice and promoting people's living standards.
Likewise, he pledged to give top priority to the Kabaddi sports, adding that Nepali athletes bring in more medals at home from international tournaments of the Kabaddi sport.
He also voiced for professionalism in the sports sector through effective planning and policy.
The Association's President, Tulsi Thapa, said that a conducive environment should be created within the country for the athletes.
A total of 240 Kabaddi players from all seven provinces were present in the competition. The Nepali Army team emerged victorious and the Armed Police Force, Nepal became the first runner up in the competition.(RSS)
