Nepathya to perform in four cities of Nepal

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Jan. 29: Nepathya, a folk-rock band, is preparing to perform in four cities of Nepal. 

After its international musical tour, the band is scheduled to resound in Hetauda, Butwal, Narayangadh and Bandipur. According to a press release issued by Nepalaya, the management company of Nepathya, the band plans to perform twice in Nepal this year. 

In the first phase, the concert tour is scheduled to begin on February 4 in Hetauda. 

The opening concert will take place on the premises of Bhutan Devi Secondary School. The second performance will be held at the Butwal International Convention Centre on February 7. Following the Butwal show, the band will resonate with audience at Campa Chaur in Narayangadh on February 10.

For the final performance of the first phase, the band will perform in Bandipur on Valentine’s Day, on February 14. 

According to the press release, this will be Nepathya’s first-ever performance in Bandipur. 

Although the band has performed multiple times in Tanahun, this will be their debut in Bandipur coinciding with the occasion of the day of love.

 Lead singer Amrit Gurung said that while he has visited Bandipur several times as a local tourist, this will be his first time performance there, which has excited him even more.

The second phase of the domestic musical tour will be announced in November, read the press release. 

As usual, singer Gurung will be accompanied by Dhurva Lama on drums, Subin Shakya on bass guitar, Niraj Gurung on guitar, Shanti Rayamajhi on madal, and Dinesh Raj Regmi on keyboard.
