Govt okays grant to Gen-Z Martyrs’ families

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Jan. 6: The government has decided to provide a grant to the Gen-Z Martyrs’ Families Welfare Society.  The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting held on Monday to support the implementation of welfare programmes for the families of Gen-Z martyrs, Minister for Communication and Information Technology and government Spokesperson Jagdish Kharel said after the Cabinet meeting that held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

The meeting also approved a labour agreement to be signed between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Israel. In addition, the Cabinet endorsed a memorandum of understanding to be signed between Nepal and Oman. It further approved the Order–2082 B.S. related to the use of petrol blended with ethanol.

The Cabinet also approved the Forest Third Amendment Regulations-2082. The government promoted Om Bahadur Khadka to the post of Additional Chief Investigation Director at the National Investigation  Department. Likewise, Ghanashyam Parajuli was promoted to the position of Deputy Auditor General under the Nepal Audit Service grouping.

Similarly, the meeting decided to nominate Kul Prasad Neupane as a member of the Management Committee responsible for managing the assets and settling the liabilities of the problematic cooperative institutions.
