Kumari Live Musical Concert to be held

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Dec. 25: ‘Kumari Live Musical Concert’ is set to be organised in various cities across the country to promote the film, which is  to be released on February 6, next year. As the release date approaches, the production team has introduced this concert series to connect directly with audience through music.

According to the announced schedule, the concert series will be held from January 15 to February 6 in Pokhara, Kathmandu, Nepalgunj, Chitwan, and Dharan. 

At all these concerts, the film’s playback singer Kehar Singh Limbu, along with his band Kehar and The Lunga, will deliver live performances.

Earlier, two songs ‘Kata Chhau’ and ‘Timi Bina’ were released and received positive attention. 

Before the start of the concert series, the production team is also preparing to release another song based on folk melodies. All the songs feature vocals by Kehar Singh Limbu.

Directed by Dinesh Raut, who has previously helmed romantic films such as ‘I Am Sorry,’  ‘November Rain,’ and ‘Classic,’ the film Kumari is scheduled for release around Valentine’s Day. Therefore, the film primarily targets young audience.

Newcomers Abishek Khadka and Akriti Rajbhandari play the lead roles in the film. The cast includes Ghanashyam Joshi, Sunita Shrestha, Akanksha Karki, Madhu Khadka, Sanam Shrestha, Saku Shah, Saroj Lamichhane, and Manisha Sharma, among others.

Produced jointly under the banner of Binish Entertainment and Picture Frame, the film is produced by Mahendra Adhikari, with Kedar Bhusal serving as the executive producer.

 The story and screenplay are written by Bikash Subedi. Cinematography is handled by Susan Prajapati, while editing and colour grading are done by Suprim Parajuli.
