Paleti to dedicate upcoming edition to singer Phatteman

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Nov. 24: Paleti has officially announced its upcoming edition, which will be dedicated to the late legendary singer Phatteman Rajbhandari. 

The acclaimed artist passed away on September 9, 2013. According to the organiser, Nepalaya, a special programme will mark the 89th birth anniversary of the celebrated singer.

The November edition will feature a recital of musical essays by composer Abhas, along with performances of Phatteman’s timeless songs by the Paleti team.

The two-day event is scheduled to take place on November 28 and 29.

Phatteman lent his voice to and composed music for more than 400 songs and hymns. 

He sang several popular Nepali songs, including Banai Khayo Dadelo Le, Yesto Pani Hudo Raicha, Sannani Ko Galai Ma, and Marna Baru Garho Hunna, among others.
