Book on uplift of the Gurung community in Nepal and worldwide released

Kathmandu, Nov 19: The book 'Upliftment of the Gurung Community in Nepal and Worldwide: Keys to Success', authored by Nanda Gurung, the former Chairperson of the Non-Resident Nepali Association in Australia, has been officially launched.     

The book was released by Nepali Ambassador to Australia, Chitralekha Yadav, along with other officials from the embassy and NRNA.     

Gurung, a successful entrepreneur and social worker who migrated from Lamjung to Kathmandu for higher education, has dedicated three decades of his life in Australia to achieving his success.     

At the book launching programme, Gurung conveyed his hope that the book, which reflects his life experiences, insights, and accomplishments, will particularly inspire the youth.     

As stated by the author, the book seeks to address various themes, including the 'Lahure' lifestyle of the Gurung community, their challenges and triumphs, effective leadership for success, professional dedication, self-confidence, self-respect, commitment to social service, affection for Nepal and its people, and the recognition and pride of the Gurung community.(RSS)
