Posters of Mirmire released

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Nov. 14: Two posters promoting the film 'Mirmire', featuring the lead actors, have been officially released. The film is directed by Yam Shrepa. 

The posters portray Dayahang Rai, a child actor, along with Prakash Saput and Sirjana Ninglekhu. In the initial poster, Dayahang Rai and Shaisa Gauchhan are shown together. 

Set against a subdued mountainous background, Dayahang and Shaisa are portrayed as father and daughter, both exhibiting signs of distress.

The second poster showcases Prakash and Sirjana, with Prakash dressed as a student and Sirjana appearing as a teacher. Sirjana wears a gentle smile, while Prakash is shown laughing heartily. 

The film is scheduled for release on January 15. Presented by Yarsa Films, the cast includes Dayahang Rai, Prakash Saput, and Sirjana Ninglekhu, among others.

Additional cast members consist of Maotse Gurung, Chhulthim Gurung, and Bhola Raj Sapkota. Child actors participating include Shaisa Gauchhan, Divisha Pant, Chirag Shrestha, and Naman Raj Gajurel.

This production marks the first collaboration between Dayahang Rai and Prakash Saput. However, it is the second collaboration between director Yam Sherpa and Dayahang Rai, as they previously worked together on 'Karsang,' Yam Sherpa's directorial debut, where Dayahang Rai also played the lead role.

In addition to directing, Yam Sherpa composed the story for the film. The cinematography has been executed by Alok Shukla. The film’s production is undertaken by Nimu Sherpa, Chongba Lama Sherpa, and Ang Chiring Sherpa, with Govinda Bohara and Sudip Kunwar serving as co-producers. 

Likewise, distributor and operator of RR Films, Rohit Kattel, is the executive producer of the film.
