Nepalbhasha Central Department distributes awards

By A Staff Reporter,Lalitpur, Nov. 13: The Central Department of Nepalbhasha, Patandhoka, Lalitpur, launched the Nepalbhasha Journal and presented various awards amid a programme on Wednesday.

At the programme with Sahu Panchabir Singh Tuladhar as chief guest, a collection of research-based articles titled Nepalbhasha Journal was jointly released by Special Guest and Language Commission member Suresh Kiran Manandhar, Head of the Central Department Dr. Rajan Lal Joshi, current Head Prof. Dr. Omkareshwor Shrestha, and Head of Patan College Dr. Raghubir Bista.

On the same occasion, various TU scholarships and awards provided by the Central Department and donors were also distributed.

Donor and chief guest Tuladhar presented various scholarships and awards to students who prepared research papers and achieved excellent marks in different semesters at the Master’s level in Nepalbhasha. 

These included the TU Scholarship, Yogbir Singh Research Award, Satyahera Research Award, Pushpadevi Scholarship, Krishnadevi-Hari Gopal Khayarguli Scholarship, and Shreshtha Medal, along with medals, certificates of honour, and cash prizes.

Special guest Manandhar said that the Central Department of Nepalbhasha needs to produce qualified and skilled human resources required for the Government.
