Education Ministry seeks details of land owned by schools and learning centers

Kathmandu, Nov.12: The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has sought details about the land owned by community schools and learning centers and the status of its tenure.

 The Ministry, through the Center for Education and Human Resource Development, is going to provide details of land owned by community schools and learning centers, their occupancy status, and any land-related problems from across the country.

Minister for Education, Science and Technology Mahabir Pun said that he has directed the Center for Education and Human Resource Development to collect details after receiving information from districts that land belonging to community schools and learning centers has been embezzled.

Of the total 35, 447 schools all across the country, 73 per cent of them are community schools. (Translated from RSS Nepali)
