Kathmandu, Nov 11: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has directed the concerned authorities to immediately move forward the process of appointing the General Manager of Nepal Airlines Corporation through an open competition.
Also looking after the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prime Minister Karki issued the directives while seeking information about the progress made so far from the Ministry's Secretary Hari Mainali, according to the PM's secretariat.
It may be noted that a selection committee has been formed under the coordination of Secretary Mainali to appoint the General Manager of the Corporation through an open competition. Captain KB Limbu is an expert member of the committee while the Chief of the Ministry's Planning and Administration Division is the member-secretary.
Secretary Mainali said that work is being done on the procedures in the meantime. (RSS)
