The trailer portrays the emotional bonds within a family, the daily struggles caused by financial hardship, and the moving depiction of social adversity.
The trailer mainly highlights the everyday problems created by financial difficulties within a family and the struggles they endured to overcome them.
It also presents the social challenges and adverse situations faced during these struggles, along with the relentless efforts parents make to fulfill their children’s dreams and desires.
The pain of separation is also presented in the trailer.
Directed by Udip Rana Thapa, the film is woven around the lives of Nepali families living in the Nepal–India border region, focusing on their cultural ties and emotional connections, the threads that bind them together. The director said that the film reflects the sensitive situations that arise when the threads of familial relationships weaken.
Actress Surakshya Panta plays the lead role in the film, alongside Prabhat Thapa, Surabhi Thapa, Buddhi Tamang, and Sunil Thapa. Actress Barsha Raut will appear in a special cameo role.
The film is produced under the banner of Film Magnet Entertainment Production House, with Uma Thapa, Uttam Thapa, and Udip Thapa as producers. The cinematography has been directed by Bollywood’s Aniket Manohar Ghogale.
The film is set to release simultaneously in cinemas across Nepal and India on November 14.
