Missing minor found dead

By Anil Parajuli, Hetauda, Sept.3: A missing nine-year-old girl from Pulchowk Tole, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-19, has been found dead on Wednesday morning.

According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, Prabha Thing, daughter of Kumar Thing, a resident of Pulchowk, went missing after leaving her home at around 4 PM on September 2.

The family searched but could not locate her. Later, police also started a search operation. 

"The girl's body was found in Rapti River, about 700 meters south of her house, at around 8:15 AM on September 3, " said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Makawanpur, Shyam Aryal. 

After completing the necessary legal procedures, the body has been sent to Hetauda Hospital for an autopsy.

 Police said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
