National Assembly meeting begins

Kathmandu, July 2: The meeting of National Assembly (NA) has begun.

In today's meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel is scheduled to present a proposal for the passage of the Appropriation Bill-2082 BS which was received in the NA along with a message from the House of Representatives (HoR). 

Also, Finance Minister Paudel will present proposals seeking NA's consideration on the Economic Bill-2082 BS and National Debt Collection Bill-2082 BS, both received with messages from the HoR.

Furthermore, various ministers including the Minister for Communications and Information Technology and the Minister for Youth and Sports will respond to the queries raised by parliamentarians on the budget allocated to their respective ministries for the upcoming fiscal year 2025/26.

Likewise, Federal Civil Service Bill will be tabled for its endorsement which is received with a message from the HoR.

Moreover, the Upper House's business for today includes ministers responding to the lawmakers' concerns to be raised during the parliamentary discussions on the Appropriation Bill-2082 BS under the headings of the Office of the President, Office of the Vice-President, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and National Planning Commission.(RSS)
