Brand Ambassador Hunt launched in Kathmandu

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, June 28: SY Entertainment has launched the ‘Face of SY 2082 -Brand Ambassador Hunt in Kathmandu. 

SY Bazar Nepal in a press conference in the capital on Thursday, claimed that this is Nepal’s biggest-ever brand ambassador hunt, with prizes worth over Rs. 20 million.

At the press conference, SY Bazar Nepal’s Director Bimal Raj Gosai said that the competition boasts total rewards exceeding Rs. 20 million. He said they had to hold a press conference because the public found it hard to believe the scale of the rewards.

The programme aims to select brand ambassadors for the company through a competitive process. 

Three main brand ambassadors will be chosen regardless of gender, through this competition.

The event has already started and will run until January 31, next year. The competition will be held in phases. The first phase runs from June 1 to September 30. To participate in the first phase, applicants must create a video based on the SY theme.

From this phase, 500 contestants will be shortlisted. Each of these selected 500 participants will receive a SY Bazar shopping voucher worth Rs. 2,000.

From these, the top 150 will be chosen for the second round, out of which 50 participants will receive a shopping voucher worth Rs. 10,000 from SY Bazar.

The top 25 from the second phase will advance to the final audition, which will take place in Kathmandu. This final phase will run from January 1 to January 31, 2026.

The final 25 contestants will undergo training and multiple evaluations. Among them, one will be crowned as the title winner Face of SY along with First and Second Runner-Ups. Event coordinator Bijay Basnet announced that the title winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 500,000 and a one-year contract worth Rs. 10 million. 

The First Runner-Up will receive Rs. 400,000 in cash and a contract worth Rs. 5 million, while the Second Runner-Up will get Rs. 300,000 along with a contract worth Rs. 3 million.

In addition, the remaining top seven contestants will each be given a Popularity Award of Rs. 150,000.
