By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, June 27: Laxmi Devi has been crowned Mrs. National Grand 2025 in a beauty pageant of married women held in the capital recently.
Organised by Krijona Media, the competition took place at the Rastriya Nachghar, Jamal, where Laxmi left 19 other contestants behind and won the crown. She also earned the title of Most Photogenic.
In the third edition of the Mrs. National pageant, Junu Karki was crowned Mrs. National Platina, while Anita Khadka earned the title of Mrs. National Classic.
In the pageant choreographed by Rani Kharel, Junu Karki was also honoured with the titles of Most Talented and Most Popular. Similarly, Anita Khadka won the Most Intelligent and Viewer’s Choice subtitles.
The event’s chief guest was Upendra Yadav, Chairman of the Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal and former Deputy Prime Minister. The chief judge was the renowned actress Gauri Malla. Other judges included film director and actor Manish Raut, artist Deepak Koirala, Everest Film Academy director Bishal Shrestha, and social worker Nanu Singh.
According to Lovin Ansari, Managing Director and choreographer at Krijona Media Group, the Mrs. National pageant is held with the objective of encouraging married women to step beyond household boundaries, become self-reliant and showcase their hidden talents to the world.
