Applications for Miss Nepal Peace open

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, June,20: The search for ‘Miss Nepal Peace 2025’ has officially begun. 

The organising body, Next Models Nepal, issued a press statementon Thursday announcing that applications for the competition are now open.

Young women aged between 17 and 28 years, who are either working as nurses or studying nursing, are eligible to participate. 

The application form is available on the ‘Khalti’ app. The top three winners of the competition will each receive a cash prize of Rs. 100,000 and the opportunity to represent Nepal in international pageants such as ‘Miss World Peace’, ‘Miss Global’, and ‘Miss Planet International’. In addition, they will receive various gifts worth Rs. 500,000.

Held under the slogan “Empowered Women, Strong Nation,” this is the only social beauty pageant in Nepal specifically related to the healthcare profession.

Finalists will be selected through auditions and will receive training in preparation for the grand finale.

According to Ravi Dhamala, president of Next Models Nepal, the competition is expected to see enthusiastic participation from nurses working in more than 100 hospitals and from students of around four dozen nursing colleges nationwide.

The pageant aims to promote peace at the international level while encouraging those involved in the nursing profession to feel a greater sense of responsibility towards both their career and society.

Managing Director Yatana Pandey said that finalists will receive training in communication skills, personality development, motivation, leadership, dress sense, public speaking, and career counselling.

Winners will also be selected in about half a dozen subcategories within the competition.
