Woman shot in Buddhanagar, Butwal
By Chhabilal Pandey, Butwal, Apr.19: A young woman got shot Buddhanagar, Butwal Sub-metropolitan City-11, this morning.
Tika Bista Chhetri, a native of Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality of Palpa district and currently residing in Buddhanagar, Butwal-11, was shot.
According to the Area Police Office, Butwal, she was shot in the back above the waist and was immediately sent to Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal, for treatment.
Deputy Superintendent of Police of the Area Police Office, Butwal, Indra Bahadur Rana, said that a search is underway for the person who fired the shot.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
