Lightning kills daughter, mother injured in Bajura

By Sangita Timilsena, Bajura, April 10: A nine-month-old baby was killed after lightning hit her on Wednesday night in Bajura.
Budhiganga Municipality - 1, Tallo Kudi's nine months' daughter of Biru Sarki was killed.
According to District Police Office Bajura's Police Inspector and Information Officer Janak Bahadur Bohara, lightning hit the house killing the child on the spot and leaving the mother Sanjita Sarki (around 28 years) injured.
Injured Sarki's body parts were burned due to lightning and she is receiving treatment at the district hospital.
