Karnali highway blocked

Manma (Kalikot), April 10 : The Surkhet-Humla road section of the Karnali Highway has been obstructed. The road has been obstructed due to a rain-triggered landslide at Bhattadi of Raskot Municipality-8 in Kalikot.    

According to the District Police Office, the landslide that occurred at Sisne of Sanni Triveni Rural Municipality-3 has been removed and traffic at this place has come into operation after the police, passengers and locals actively removed the landslide debris.    

Chief of the District Police Office, Tek Bahadur Rawat, said that the police, locals and excavators were working to clear the landslide at Bhattadi of Raskot Municipality-8. "Work is underway to clear the landslide now," he said, adding, "The road will come into operation today itself." (RSS)
