Rain disrupts Narayanghat–Butwal road section

By Bom Lal Giri, Nawalpur, Apr.10: The Narayanghat–Butwal road section has been disrupted owing light rainfall since Thursday morning.

The Daunne section of the highway has been blocked since 9 AM due to the muddy and slippery road after light rain, according to the District Police Office, Nawalpur.

The expansion work is underway at the location from April 10 to 13 by not allowing traffic. Vehicles are not allowed to drive from 11 AM to 3 PM at the section.

Passengers traveling on this route have been suffering due to the blockage even during the hours when vehicles are allowed to ply.

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Madhu Nepal, efforts are being made to resume the blocked highway.
