'Collective initiative must for entrepreneurship'

Kathmandu, April 4: Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Sharat Singh Bhandari, has said government was at work to create employment and promote entrepreneurship by expanding information system on labour market.    

Inaugurating a web portal relating to employment at the Lordbuddha Education Foundation, Maitidevi, Kathmandu on Thursday, Minister Singh called private sectors to initiate collective actions for creating internal jobs and foster entrepreneurship.    

He also shared that the ministry was also preparing a national employment portal to share systematic information on labour and job requirements in the country. Such portal initiated already in Koshi Province would be expanded to all other local levels soon, Minister Bhandari added.    

The Minister launched the 'empowering future' website on the occasion.    
    
Chairperson of the Lord Buddha Education Foundation, Pankaj Jalan, expressed belief that the website would help students explore skills and opportunities and get linked to relevant industries.
