Morang, April 4: Nepali Congress
leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has said problems surfaced in the country could be
resolved by seeking measures within constitutional remit.
Laying a foundation stone for the
Budhiganga Park to be built at Budhiganga rural municipality-1 in Morang
district on Thursday, leader Koirala reiterated that everyone has right to
peaceful protest by taking into account the constitutional limit.
The violent activities like
vandalism and arson are not acceptable at all, he reminded, adding that these
are not the measures to resolve problems. The Tinkune mayhem of March 28
warrants a probe committee for fair investigation, he underlined.
According to him, political parties
need correction to consolidate federal democratic republic. He urged the
government run by the two large parties- the NC and the CPN UML- paid heed to
amendment of constitution, economic development, good governance and employment
creation.
On the occasion, Chairperson of
Budhiganga rural municipality, Jit Narayan Thapamagar, informed that the park
was being built to develop the area as a tourist destination. It is being built
in 4 bighas of land on the bank of Singhiya stream at the cost of Rs 210
