Public holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations on Monday

Kathmandu, March 31: The government has declared Monday a public holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.    


Spokesperson of the Home Ministry, joint-secretary Ramchandra Tiwari informed that the public holiday was declared for Monday in accordance with the notice published in the Nepal Gazette on 11 February 2024.    


There has been a tradition to observe the Eid-ul-Fitr, a grand festival of the Muslim religious people, nationwide with fanfare. (RSS)
