Kathmandu, Mar.29: The much-awaited film Draupadi, which has been in the theater since Friday, is currently in the news.
Draupadi, which is in the second week in cinema theaters, has received positive feedback from the audience.
Director Rishiraj Acharya is showing the film to various high-level leaders and getting their feedback.
The production team is confident that Draupadi's shows will continue to grow due to the positive response from the audience.
Deputy Speaker Indira Rana, who watched the film just a few days ago, said that Draupadi has raised the issue of women's empowerment wonderfully.
She said that cultures and traditions change with time. Draupadi has given strength to women to fight against evil and bad customs, urging denizens to watch the movie.
Just a few days ago, former minister Rekha Sharma, who watched the noview, said that Draupadi sounded the trumpet of rebellion to uplift women and bring about social change in a time when the system is changing but the situation is not.
She said that this film should not be missed.

An original Nepali film shot in naturally beautiful places of the country such as Shey Phoksundo Lake, Draupadi, is being screened in cinema halls across the country from Chaitra 8 (21 March).
In addition to a social story, Nepal's unique natural beauty has been presented in the film, said director Acharya.
Produced in the banner of RB Movies, the cinema has actors such as Ashwini Shahi, Rabi Od, Jelsan Adhikari, Sujata Timalsina, Kabiraj Bham, Prakash Gyawali, Sita Baudel, Bishnu Thaharai, Suraj Adhikari and the director, Rishi Raj Acharya.
