By Gokarna Paudel, Tulsipur, Mar.28: Four people from Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City died when a Scorpio carrying people for a pilgrimage met with an accident.
Four people were killed when a Scorpio vehicle with Indian number plate (UP 31 AC 7200), which had left Tulsipur on Thursday morning for a pilgrimage to various pilgrimage sites in India, crashed near Tulsipur, India.
According to Ram Bahadur GC, ward chairman of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City- 7, four people, including the driver, Yubaraj Chapagain, aged around 37, of Paeseni, Tulsipur-7, died in the accident.
The 80-year-old mother of Motiram Oli, a resident of Tulsipur-7, died in the accident. The names of the two deceased is yet to be ascertained.
He said that there were nine people onboard in the vehicle. Four died and the remaining have sustained injuries.
According to Ward Chairman GC, the accident occurred around 4 PM on Thursday.
Ward Chairman GC said that the four deceased have been brought home.
