Brother-in-law commits homicide in Heatuda, killing sister in law, injuring brother

By Rammani Dahal, Hetauda, Mar.27: A brother-in-law has murdered his sister-in-law in Chowkital, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan city-1. 

According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, Ramesh Das alias Rahul murdered his sister-in-law Gudiya Das on Wednesday, 

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shyam Aryal, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makawanpur, Ramesh, around 22-23 years of age, had murdered his eldest sister-in-law, Gudiya Das, aged 35, by hitting her on the head with a sharp weapon.

Upon receiving the news, police investigation team arrived at 9:00 PM, it was learned that the deceased elder sister-in-law was murdered by her brother-in-law Ramesh Das by hitting her head with a sharp weapon in a room on the second floor of the two-and-a-half-story house before attacking middle brother Rupesh Das with a machete (khukuri).

It has been revealed that Ramesh had also used a khukuri on his sister-in-law in a domestic dispute. Ramesh committed an attempt to murder his 28-year-old brother, Rupesh Das, at 4:10 PM, injuring Rupesh on the head, right head, and rib cage. 

The alleged culprit has been detained by a team of police who received news about the homicide. 

 Police say that further investigation into the incident is underway and the injured is receiving treatment at the Cooperative Hospital.
