Kathmandu, Mar.21: 17 people have been arrested for harassing and behaving indecently towards service recipients.
The District Police Range, Kathmandu, has taken 17 people under control for harassing and behaving indecently towards service recipients.
According to Spokesperson at the District Police Range, Kathmandu and Superintendent of Police (SP) Apil Raj Bohara, as many as 17 people have been taken into custody from the Department of Transport Management Gurjudhara of Chandragiri Municipality-5.
He said that after receiving a complaint from service receivers that they are being nagged at the Transport Management Office, Gurjudhara, at 12:30 PM on March 21, by promising to expedite work, a police team was deployed and 17 people involved in the act were taken into custody.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Bohara, 17 people who were taken into custody are being investigated.
