Kathmandu, March 20: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has shared that the issue related to reservation of other sides including Tharu and Muslims would be addressed once the Federal Civil Service Act is promulgated.
At Q&A session in today's meeting of the House of Representatives, lawmaker Bina Kumari Thanait questioned about non arrangement of reservation for Tharu community as a separate community and delay in promulgation of civil service act.
Responding to queries of lawmaker Thanait, PM Oli mentioned, "Clause-wise discussion is taking place on the bill designed to manage formation, operation and condition of service of Federal Civil Service, 2080 in the State Affairs Committee. Opportunity of reservation has been provided to Tharu community even in civil service act keeping them in the indigenous community."
He informed the House that the principle of inclusion has been adopted in course of appointing in various public posts after formation of the incumbent government. (RSS)
