Koirala led NC delegation team in China's Chengdu

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 27: An important meeting was held in Chengdu between the Congress delegation led by Nepali Congress leader and former Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala and the leading leaders of China's Sichuan province.

The leader, Barma Lama, who participated in the meeting, informed that cooperation in the fields of agriculture, education, health, communication, tourism, and other issues was also discussed, along with mutual harmony and cooperation.

In a written statement, leader Koirala informed that China is a good neighbour of Nepal and the Nepali Congress and the government of Nepal are always aware of China's interests. She also appreciated China's support for the welfare and development of Nepal and Nepali people.

This meeting is believed to help to strengthen further the relationship between the Chinese Communist Party and the Congress.
