Kathmandu, Feb 2: CPN (UML) General-Secretary Shankar Pokhrel said that every Nepali citizen should work hand-in-hand to strengthen national economy.
At an interaction programme organized by Nepali diaspora in Japan on Sunday, General-Secretary Pokhrel also emphasized the call for unified efforts for the nation-building.
Stressing on the need for Nepalis in Japan to contribute in the nation-building process, Pokhrel assured that the incumbent government was enabling an investment-friendly environment in the country, according to Saroj Regmi, General-Secretary Pokhrel's personal secretary.
Pokhrel urged the non-resident Nepalis in Japan to have a positive outlook towards their motherland.
Acknowledging the workforce as the foundation for strong economy, Pokhrel said that Nepal had a notable number of workforce and the country was moving ahead on the path of legal and political reforms.
Likewise, UML central committee member Surya Pathak urged Nepalis in Japan to consider making their investment in Nepal.(RSS)
