Kathmandu, Jan 28: The bill designed to amend and integrate the Act related to the Nepal Police and Armed Police Force has been registered at the federal parliament secretariat today.
Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak informed that both the bills were registered at the federal parliament by obtaining approval from the cabinet after necessary consultation with and consensus of stakeholders.
The bill was presented at the parliament for its amendment and revision by placing emphasis on making the police organizations well-managed, consolidated and active, the minister added.(RSS)
