Police constable pulling trigger on himself dies in course of treatment

Kanchanpur, Jan.25: A police constable, Wakil Bista, who was working at Sudurpaschim Disaster Management in Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur, died on Friday while undergoing treatment.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Umesh Raj Joshi, said that police constable Bista died during treatment at Nisarga Hospital and Research Center of Dhangadhi, Kailali.

Bista shot himself in the head while on duty at the weapons storage area on Wednesday night January 22.

Bista, who sustained serious injuries, after pulling the trigger on himself, was immediately rushed to Mahakali Provincial Hospital however, was later referred to Nisarga Hospital for further treatment where he died in the course of treatment.
