Culture's role vital for progress of society: DPM Singh

By TRN Online, Dhading, Jan 23: Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh said culture played a vital role in the progress of society.

Speaking at Dhading Loksanskriti Mahotshav on Thursday, DPM said culture plays a crucial role in the progress of the society. 

He said, “We need to celebrate cultural festivals regularly to protect its identity”. Minister emphasized that there need to keep culture, costume, and art alive because identity may be vanished if language and culture are forgotten.   

He said that an amiable environment is created to protect art, religion, and culture after the establishment of a democratic system. He appreciated the organizer for organizing the festival with the aim of protecting people’s culture.

DPM Singh said Federal, Provincial and Local governments will work together for the development of infrastructure in Dhading district. He said, “All levels of government move forward to work together. It will depend upon the priority of people”.
