Extreme cold forces schools to close in Nepalgunj

Khajura(Banke), Jan.22: The institutional and community schools at Nepalgunj will be closed for three days in the wake of the increasing cold of late coming into effect from today till January 24. 

 According to the Gorkha Bahadur Thapa, chief of education division at the sub-metropolis,  schools will be closed for three days because of inclement weather and and it would be adjusted from the monsoon holidays. 

"Increasing cold wave has affected teaching-learning activities badly, so we decided to close schools for some days," he added.    

Parents have also been informally requesting the school as well as the municipality for the school break. (Translated from RSS)
