By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 20: Bagmati Province Women defeated Tribhuwan Army Club Women 14 runs in the Prime Minister Cup Women's National Cricket Tournament on Monday at Fapla Cricket Ground, Dhangadhi.
The match was reduced to 15 overs due to bad weather where Bagmati made a total of 81 runs in two wickets.
In response following the target Army Women scored 67 runs before being all out in 13.2 overs.
To restrict Army from achieving the target Bagmati bawlers Sonu Khadka, Manisha Upadhayay and Kanchan Shrestha took two wickets each whereas Sanskriti Phuyal and Bipisha Shahi took a single wicket each.
Bagmati's Yashu Pandey scored 25 runs, Kanchan Shrestha scored 24 and Yashoda Bist scored 20 runs. Army's Ishwori Bist and Laxmi Saud took a single wicket each.
Army's Anjali Bishowkarma scored 14 runs, Ngima Tamang 13 runs, Laxmi Saud 10, Samjhana Khadka and Ishwori Bist hit 5 runs each, Sushmita Bhusal and Rubi Poddar scored 3 runs each, Sita Shahi 2 and Ashma Pulami Magar scored a single run but remained fail to make their team winner.
