Government will last full term, says Yogesh Bhattarai

Dolakha, Jan. 16: Yogesh Bhattarai, Secretary of Ruling party CPN UML, has said that this government will remain until the election in 2084 BS.

Addressing the press conference organized by Press Chautari, Dolakha, Bhattarai stated that opposition party is spreading the rumour saying the government would be disintegrate.

Also a former minister Bhattarai said UML-Nepali Congress collision government is ready to implement the seven-point agreement that was agreed upon when the government was formed.

Citing that international relations were not as good as expected when the government was formed, Bhattarai said the government succeeded in strengthening the economy of the country.

Bhattarai also said that several development projects could not proceed due to the government having many tasks that were delayed by the prior government.

Despite this condition, the development projects are moving ahead because the Finance Ministry started ensuring budget allocation recently, said Bhattarai.

“The share market is improving, the investors are excited,” said Bhattarai.

Speaking about the ordinance, Bhattarai stated that some laws are very outdated and contradictory to each other, so an ordinance has been brought to streamline them. 

The coalition government has also created an appropriate environment for foreign investment and uplifted technology development, said Bhattarai.

Meanwhile, he said that two major political parties are discussing with each other and will amend the constitution with appropriate options.
